Friction points on the distal pad section create a gentle massage effect that relieves pressure on Hoffa’s fat pad and helps reduce pain. A strategically placed muscle-relaxing pad promotes slight relaxation of the iliotibial tract, minimizing lateral pull on the patella, and the anatomical pad wings extend to the joint-stabilizing vastus medialis muscle to enhance proprioception and knee stability.
